What is grammar ?
Grammar is a systematic study of scientific method which provides us information and guidance necessary to learn a language. The science of grammar teaches us how a language is spoken and written correctly and effectively . So, it can be can be said that grammar is primarily concerned with the formation and classification of words and sentences and their practical significance in daily life.
Alphabet
The alphabet of English is composed of twenty-six letters. They are divided into classes.
(I) Vowels
(II) Consonants
Vowels:-
The five letter a ,e ,I, o, u are Know as the vowels in English and we cannot write words without using vowels.
Consonants:-
The remaining twenty _ one letters of the alphabet are known as consonants. They are a, b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, y, z
WORD
WORD IS A PROPER COMBINATION OF ALETTER AND IT CONVEYS IDEA.
for example:-
pencils, colleges, books, write, plays and slow
Phrase
A group of words that makes some senses, but not the complete sense.
For example :-
(I) In the room
(II) One the table
Clause
A group of words which forms a part of a sentences, and contains a subject and a verb of its own, is called clause.
